Goodwin was a spy for The Others who lived
among the tail section survivors, claiming to be a former
member of the Peace Corps. After Nathan is accused of being
a traitor and thrown in a pit-cage, Goodwin kills him. While
alone, Ana Lucia reveals that she knows Goodwin is one of
The Others. Before Goodwin dies, he implies that the survivors
who had been abducted are "good people." "Nathan
was not a good person," Goodwin tells Ana-Lucia. "That's
why he wasn't on the list." Ana Lucia kills him.
